If I could give 6 start for Service, I would.
Popped in just before 4pm and the entire team were welcoming and happy to assist.
The indoor dining area is dark but this adds a nice charm to it. There's something about the atmosphere that makes you smile. All the staff are having a great time and it rubs off.
The food though... Delicious! Absolutely thrilled I chose this place. The Ropa Vieja was flavoured perfectly and the portion size was almost too much, almost.
Definitely worth a visit if you're craving some food and service from the heart.
Wanted to enjoy a good brunch and I got the best of both worlds coming here. Great authentic Latin cuisine. Sunday they serve brunch. You can even bring your wine and they’ll make you sangria. I had the steak sandwich and pancakes. It was really good!
Food was greattt and reasonably priced. All entrees come with two sides and the options for sides are even more enticing. The only issue with the entrees is that not all of them are available on all days; you might fixate your mind on some dish only to realize that it's not available. But finally all that we got were not only tasty but the quality of the preparation was quite superior. Even the fried things do not at all feel oily and I had an entire steak but didn't feel overeaten. All over really a good food experience.
Found this Spanish spot near my office.
My favorite is the ox-tail.
I have included photos of what I ordered and for the price, the portions were very generous, will return.
Also the quality of the food was quite good.
This place is very tiny but I came in at 4pm and it wasn’t packed only two tables taken and I had made a reservation. Very beautiful restaurant and the waiter was amazing. The food was great and they make a delicious sangria! (We brought the wine since it is a byob) loved it here!
Dinner with my Sister, last minute change of location due to cold weather. Met in Hoboken with no idea where to go. Found this little gem. Warm, cozy amd cute, cite, cute. My sister gave them five stars for atmosphere. Food is delicious and excellent value. Service waa friendly and responsive, ding'd them a star as they forgot pur soda's ( its BYOB) and dinged them a star on food because the empanadas didn't blow our minds. (It was fine). Every other dish was excellent. Anytime I'm in Hoboken, now we know where to go. Great for date night and intimate occasions. Small, so not ideal for large groups
Best Hispanic Food around.
Nice little place with great service and an affordable menu. Highly recommend.
The food was top notch and full of flavor. You can tell the food is prepped and seasoned well. Highly recommend the garlic shrimp and chicken specialty dish with rice. I also highly recommend anything from the lunch menu. Sizeable portion of food - actually enough to be split between two people.
If this is your first visit, try to sit in and eat. Taking the food to go doesn't have the same effect. Inside is small though so it can be a bit uncomfortable during popular times.
Very very verryy delicious. Definitely recommend it. We went here for my daughter's birthday dinner. From Suffolk County, LI to Manhattan for some stores. And for whatever reason we decided to cross over into NJ for dinner and it turned out to be an excellent decision. I will definitely take the time to drive out there again. The food was delicious. Steak and shrimp recommended. And 100% recommend the appetizer, Stuffed Plantains.
